DAY 43: MAX CARDIO CONDITIONING

WHOOO~!

Just finished my MAX CARDIO CONDITIONING workout!!! It was awesome! I did much better than I did last week when I first tried it.... but it's still hard and I still have to put in a couple of breaks for me to catch my breath. MAX INTERVAL TRAINING is ridiculous!! I LOVE IT!

It was good to do my weigh in this morning because I saw that I have reached all my measurement goals. The only goals I didn't reach were my weight and my body fat percentage. I have 3 more weeks to get there in those two departments!

Also, my coach is sending me P90X as part of the coach incentive program so that means that next week I might be stacking some workouts and overlapping my INSANITY with P90X! EXCITING!

WEEK 6 WEIGH IN!!!

Sorry it has been so long since I have done a weigh in! I've been kind of busy with my workouts and everything else going on in my life but today I figured since it is the beginning of Week 7, I would do a weigh in. I have 3 weeks left of INSANITY!!!! So here we go with the weigh in:

Weight: 137 lbs
Waist: 29 in
Chest: 33 in
Left Bicep: 12 in
Right Bicep: 13 in

Here is my Week 6 Weigh In Picture:

Goal Tracking:
Since my last weigh in I have lost 2 more pounds off the scale, one more inch off my waist, another half inch off my chest and half an inch off of my left bicep! I have reached all of my measurement goals!!!!! The only goals that I have not yet reached is my target weight and my body fat perentage. I wanted to lose a total of 10 pounds on INSANITY, so far I have lost 6 pounds so I need to lose 4 more! I also want to get my body fat to as low as 10%.

In the past 6 weeks of doing INSANITY, I have lost a total of 6 pounds, 5 inches off my waist, 3 inches off my hips, 2 inches off my chest, and about an inch off of each bicep!!! I only have 3 more weeks to go!!!

DAY 42: OFF

Yesterday was the end of my first week of MAX INTERVAL TRAINING and that means an off day! But it was not an off day at all for my body! My friends and I went up to Eaton Canyon for our amazing hike, run, rock climbing and canyoneering adventure. We went about 4 miles up the canyon rock climbing up and over ridges and waterfalls all the way up to almost the top of the mountain where we found a beautiful 35 foot waterfall which we couldn't get up using the ropes we brought. We hung out up there for a little while then turned back and headed back down all 11 waterfalls to the beginning. On the way, we stopped at the second waterfall from the bottom, a nice 45 to 50 foot waterfall that spills into a large and deep lagoon. We jumped from the top of that into the lagoon!! An amazing 50 foot drop to end the awesome hike!

DAY 41: MAX INTERVAL PLYO

What an awesome day I had today! I started the day by cooking brunch with a bunch of friends in Santa Monica and we had an amazing brunch feast, followed by a fun time in the sun at the beach! Once I got home, I rested a little bit and then I jumped into my MAX INTERVAL PLYO workout. Whew!!! That workout is crazy! My legs are still shaking from all the plyo! I'm pretty sure I did better than last time I did this workout earlier this week, but man, my body is tired!

I'm excited for my day off tomorrow from INSANITY and I am really excited because I will be going on a hike up Eaton Canyon again. This time my friends and I are going to try to get all the way tot he very top of the waterfalls. Should be an awesome day!

DAY 40: MAX INTERVAL CIRCUIT

Whooo! I did my MAX INTERVAL CIRCUIT workout yesterday and I did so much better that the first time I tried this workout! It's good to know that my body can adapt and get stronger even when a program as intense as INSANITY steps up its workouts. I can't wait to see how I do during my PLYO workout today.

DAT 39: MAX RECOVERY

Alright! SO yesterday was my first recovery day since I've been in the MAX INTERVAL stage of INSANITY. What an amazing workout. It was so good to stretch and take time to really dig deep into the muscles. At points in this workout I wanted to stop and quit but I kept pushing and I'm really happy I did because now I feel great!!!

The days I have this workout are my easy days from now on! Hard to think of it that way considering how hard my body worked on it but that's that this is all about!

DAY 38: MAX CARDIO CONDITIONING

WHEW!!! Sorry I've missed updates but it's been a busy couple of days. On Thursday, I started the day with doing the MAX CARDIO CONDITIONING workout. It's amazing to me that this program finds ways to top itself with the new workouts. This one was the toughest one yet I think! It just doesn't stop!!! and I LOVE IT!

After recovering from the workout, I went to my Parkour class at night where we did a huge plyometric lower body workout since we were working on jumps and climbs.... just what I needed after MAX CARDIO AND CONDITIONING!!!
