Day 18: First Workout: Cardio Power and Resistance

Hey everyone!

Just finished my first INSANITY workout for the day: Cardio Power and Resistance!! What a workout!!! I think the more I do INSANITY, the more I sweat! I thought it would be the other way around and that my body would get used to it! NOPE....I sweat more and more everyday and it feels so GOOD!!!!

I'm now taking a break to go run some errands and such but then I will be back tonight to do today's regular workout: Cardio Recovery. It's gonna be a good one!!

That's all for now!

Day 17: Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs

Hey Everyone!

Today I did the regular scheduled day since there were already two workouts in it which were Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs. I was tired when I first started because of the double INSANITY workouts I've been doing all week and that it was around 8:15pm; I'm used to doing my workouts earlier in the day. However, once pushing through the warm up and really stretching out my muscles, I had a great Pure Cardio workout!!! Then was time for Cardio Abs, and it was perfect timing considering I got my Beachbody Yoga Mat in the mail today! I also received my P90X Pull Up Bar and my Body Fat tester. Back to Cardio Abs; today was only my second time doing Cardio Abs and it felt awesome. I never thought that my abs could burn that much, and without doing a single sit up!!! It was great!

Tomorrow will be my last day of doubling up workouts and I will be all caught up on all my INSANITY workouts by Day 19!

It's time to Dig DEEPER!!!!

Day 16: Cardio Recovery and Plyometric Cardio Circuit

ALRIGHT!!!!

Just finished my second workout of the day: Plyometric Cardio Circuit. This afternoon I started with Cardio Recovery, INSANITY's "easy day" which left me with my legs shaking from the deep muscle work done during the recovery workout. Then I had a recovery drink, delicious smoothie made from milk, yogurt, peanut butter, protein powder, frozen strawberries and ground flax seed.
Then after an hour long break, I started the Plyometric Cardio Circuit.

My legs were KILLING me at the beginning of the workout. Not painfully, but I just felt them being very tired. Then I remembered that yesterday I did 3 INSANITY workouts. I pushed through to the end of the warm-up and reached a sort of "runner's euphoria" or rather INSANITY EUPHORIA and had the best Plyometric Cardio Circuit yet! I was able to execute more of the workout without taking the breaks I used to before and really really surprised myself! It was awesome!!!

I just ate my post-workout meal, chicken with a lemon, wine and caper sauce over toasted pine nut cous-cous with a protein shake on the side for my overworked muscles! YUM! I feel great and can't wait for tomorrow and to keep pushing! Now it's time for a shower some stretching!

See ya!

Day 15: Workouts # 2 and # 3: Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs

WHOOOOO!!!!!

I feel great!!! I just finished my second and third INSANITY workouts of the day!!! Pure Cardio was really hard in the beginning but once I pushed through all three warm up circuits and went deep into my stretch, I got a second wind and was able to dig deep all the way to the end!

Then came Cardio Abs. This was the first time I've done Cardio Abs since I missed it last week while I was on vacation. I didn't know what to expect. The last ab workout I did was Ab Ripper X from P90X which is great but it's really challenging!! Like Tony says, "I love it, but I hate it!" When I heard that Cardio Abs didn't have a single crunch of sit-up, I got excited for an easier workout.....yeah, right! Cardio Abs kicked my abs!!!!

Looking forward for a day with only 2 workouts tomorrow.

Day 15: Workout # 1: Fit Test (Week 3)

So I just finished my first workout of the day which was my INSANITY FIT TEST.
This was the second time that I did the fit test; the first time was on my first day of INSANITY.

I am happy to report that I have improved my numbers in 7 out of 8 exercises! The only one I didn't improve in was Power Knees, which I stayed at my same number from two weeks ago, which was 110 repititions in one minute.

Even though I missed the 3 workouts last week, I still managed to improve overall and I almost doubled the repitions in some of the exercises!

I'm taking a little break to eat something and then digest, and then I will be doing one of the workouts that I missed last week, which is a double workout; Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs.

TIME TO DIG DEEP!!!

Back to Reality!

Hey everyone!

So after bragging about doing my workout on vacation and being really proud of myself, I let myself down and missed three workouts on my last 3 days of vacation. This is a HUGE bummer!!! However.... to make up for it, I will be doing two workouts per day this week to make up for it! So IT'S TIME TO GET INSANE!!

That being said, I will not be doing a week 2 weigh in or a week 2 photo since I fell off the wagon! Instead, I will be holding off and I will update next week with a week 3 weigh in and week 3 photo!

I know I was bad while I was on vacation but to make up for it, I tried to lower my caloric intake to make up for the lack of burning calories.

That's it for now, I'm gonna get ready for my first day of double INSANITY workouts!

Day 10: Plyometric Cardio Circuit

I did my workout on vacation!!! It was hard and I had to take a break from hanging out with my friends I haven't seen in years to do it, but I did my workout. It was a little different doing it here in Washington DC, where it's more humid that in Los Angeles but it was still good!

I really like the Plyometric Cardio Circuit workout. I can feel my legs already getting stronger and used to all the jumping and squatting.

I'm excited for Cardio Recovery tomorrow!!
