DAY 2: Plyometric Cardio Circuit

WHEW!!!!

This morning I did my first actual INSANITY workout!!! It was the Plyometric Cardio Circuit!

Man!! It was awesomely intense!!! I think I did well for my first workout. It is different working out in short but intense intervals.... ITS HARD! By the end of the warm-up I was already breathing hard and sweating a lot, then we stretched, and THEN we started the real circuit; 4 to 5 minutes of maxed out reps then only 30 seconds of rest before starting all over again.

I finished the workout after sweating through a bandana, tshirt, shorts and socks, got lots of water and had my recovery drink (smoothie with milk, yogurt, flax seed, peanut butter, protein and frozen strawberries). I stopped sweating about 10 minutes after.

    Vimos sobre o seu Blog so agora. Parece bem challenging....vamos torcer para que consiga chegar as suas metas....
    Estamos ainda em Angra. Voltaremos amanha para SP. Nao pudemos ir a Ilha Grande...dizem que com o deslizamento de terra que aconteceu no mes passado e levou embora varias pousadas, o lugar ainda esta meio baguncado.....
    Mas ontem fizemos um passeio de saveiro e conhecemos algumas praias muito bacanas. So todas em outras ilhas mas nao na Ilha Grande....fica para uma proxima vez.
