DAY 13: KEMPO X

Hey everyone,

Yesterday was the first day without an INSANITY workout! It's crazy! I got up and it felt so weird to not jump into an INSANITY DVD.

Anyways, when it was time to workout, it was time for KEMPO X, one of my favorite P90X workouts! HOwever, I had to leave for a rehearsal an hour and five minutes after I pushed play on my DVD. I knew that if I didn't do the workout then, I wouldn't be able to because I had rehearsal, then a workshop, then a dinner and going out with friends.

I decided to do INSANE KEMPO X! Since I was pressed for time, I decided to kick it up a notch and see how much of the workout I could do if I just pushed myself to the max like in INSANITY but with KEMPO X. I warmed up the regular way but when it came time to start the exercises, I did them as fast as I could but still with good form. Then instead of taking the 90 - 120 second breaks in between exercises, I just did 15 seconds of ballistic stretching then kept on pushing. I shaved 17 minutes off of the workout. Then I hopped in the shower and was out in time to leave 3 minutes early!

I did it! I finished INSANITY!!! I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it's over! What an amazing 9 weeks and wow has my body been through some INSANE workouts!

Here is my POST-INSANITY weigh in information:

Weight: 133 lbs
Waist: 28 in
Chest: 33 in
Left Bicep: 12 in
Right Bicep: 12.5 in
Body Fat: 10%

Since my last weigh in, which was in Week 6, I have lost 4 more pounds of weight. I also shaved another inch off of my waist. My chest stayed the same but my arms got more toned too... My left arm stayed the same but my right arms lost another inch. As far as my body fat percentage goes, I started checking it around week 4 and then it was at 16% Now, 5 weeks later, it's at 10%!

This just goes to show that you can do anything that you put your mind to. INSANITY is a cardio packed program that is probably the hardest workout program you've ever done. It's going to hurt and burn and you're going to push yourself like never before but in the end, you come out of it a stronger person who has worked hard to achieve their goal!
